Online Presence of a Professional Businesses

BioChroma Analytics Lab LLC is a company based out of Dallas, TX that provides aid in product development and distribution to companies in fields such as cosmetics and medicines. They do this by providing services to customers in the fields of biology and chemistry to consult, help develop, upscale, and even run tests of products the customers are trying to distribute.

This company has a great online presence that provides a professional outreach to clients and other interested third parties. I originally found this company through a job listing on the website Indeed that had a brief job description, an email address, and a link to apply through their website. Upon clicking the link to their website, I was brought to a webpage with a very eyecatching banner and logo. The logo itself is simplistic, yet conveys the company name, and some visual representations of what the company has to offer. The banner below that is then a brightly colored picture of berries and medicine in the form of pills. This is not only appealing to the eye and attention-grabbing, but it is relevant to what the company does and has to offer. The rest of the webpage itself is organized and simple. The bulk of the page gives a description of the company and a list of services provided which is very important for potential customers. The bottom of the page has a blue banner with easy-to-read contact information, including a hyperlinked email that allows you to send an email by just clicking the address which is convenient and encourages visitors to the page to contact them. The top of the page has five tabs: HomePage, Services, Product Development, Careers, and About. These all bring up tabs with a similar appealing format as the homepage itself. This helps customers find information easily and quickly which is good for the company as it once again encourages customers to inquire about potential services they need.

The company’s LinkedIn page is, I would say, more impressive than its website. In the Overview section, they have all the same information that is listed on the home page of the website. On top of that, they have the size of the company, the year it was founded, the headquarters location, and their specialties. They also, as with most companies on LinkedIn, have a way to see all the employees on the site that are associated with them. This allows you to reach out to any of them with inquiries on things as well as see some of the credentials of those that have been hired to work for the company. As a potential employee, this is important because it helps people like myself network with those in the company and potentially increase my chances of getting a job there.

Their Facebook and Instagram pages are pretty much identical, which is both a good thing and a bad thing. If I were trying to do research on the company as a customer or a potential employee, I could get all the information I needed from Facebook if I didn’t have an Instagram. However, if I wanted more information than what I got from their Facebook, LinkedIn, website, and Indeed posts, I would be hard-pressed unless I actually emailed or called using the provided contact information.

The one area I would suggest for this company, as with a lot of companies, is maybe having employees post some simple things such as a video of the kind of things they do in the office as long as it does not give away confidential information. This gives the customer or future applicant for employment a more human look at the company itself. With small companies, establishing a personal connection with outside networks and people is important because this is not only how they provide impressions of them, but how they can find potential customers. As a possible employee, I would like to see the types of people who work here and maybe even the work environment itself before ever applying so I would not waste my time or the companies time if it was decided I was not a fit match.

Anyway, sorry for the long post, but thank you for reading. Have a wonderful morning, afternoon, evening, or night!
